MINNESOTA STATE FAIR – AUG 29 2018

It was better than fair, it was freaking awesome!

The Minnesota State Fair is always a blast, and this year did not disappoint!! I had a fantastic day meeting the Buz’n 102.9 crew and singing with the amazing talent on Women In Country Wednesday! And of course, the fan support was amazing! Thank you – live music wouldn’t exist without you!

This was by far my favorite year performing, since I had a chance to feature my original music! I also sang a few fabulous femme group tunes with [pictured from left to right above] Karina Kern, Dayna Koehn and Erica Hanson, which was super fun! We definitely impressed the fair crowd with some beautifully improvised 4-part harmonies and creative hand percussion. I think we impressed ourselves, too! HA!

Plus (as if the day wasn’t already wonderful enough) I got to go to the fair with my Man Friend For Life (MFFL), meet country star Morgan Evans who is hanging with Lucas from Buz’n 102.9 in the picture below. His superstar lady friend Kelsea Ballerini also showed up to say hi! And THEN my amazing life-long friends (and career long super-supporters) even surprised me and hung out after the show! Thanks T, Rese, A-B, and the newest cutie, Lil’ L. Xoxo’s – Love you all! I even heard that one of their families is now obsessed with my original camp song, “Golf Cart Ride”…how cool!

Lastly, but most importantly, I’d like to send out a Very Special Thanks to Paul Thomas, Buz’n 102.9, and the Midwest Country Music Music Association for making this opportunity possible and for hosting local songwriters at the Buz’n 102.9 MN State Fair booth, on the radio, and at Midwest CMA Showcases and other local events!
