Yesterday was an actual “Stormy Monday” here in Minnesota. We had several downpours with lightning and thunder and many of the communities nearby (including mine) had lots of hail, with reports of some pieces being as big as a lime!
This sampling of hail came from my Father’s company about 10 minutes from my home. I’m feeling pretty bad for all the folks who ended up with cracked windshields, dimpled and dented cars and ruined siding and roofing on their houses. I’m sure there’ll be lots of calls to insurance companies in the next few days!
Fortunately, the cure to all ailments (in my opinion), is a good old fashioned dose of music. So here is a clip of me singing “Stormy Monday” by The Allman Bros. at Brookside Bar and Grill in Marine on St. Croix, MN from a few weeks ago.
